My name is Hanifa El-Safadi, an educator who thrives on building meaningful
connections and embracing diverse perspectives. My journey has taken me across two
countries and cultures, each contributing to my evolving understanding of education. I
grew up in Canada, where I developed a deep appreciation for diversity and personal
responsibility, before moving to Lebanon at 15, where I encountered an entirely different
education system. Adapting to a new cultural and social environment taught me
resilience and flexibility, skills that continue to shape my approach to teaching. After
returning to Canada, I was faced with new challenges and dynamics, which continue to
push me to grow and adapt in an ever-changing world. These experiences have not
only enriched my perspective but have also fueled my passion for learning and
teaching.
